Lola and I arrived in San Diego on Thursday evening and while I have lots of photos to share of our adventures, I wanted to take a few minutes (or with blogspot, a few hours) to upload a video of Lola rolling over.
Before traveling down here, Lola has rolled over maybe 3 or 4 times and every time, except one occasion, has occurred while I was at work. Today, I set her down on a blanket and immediately, she rolled over. Thinking, it was a fluke, I flipped her to her back, but there she went, rolling back over onto her belly. She did this 14 times in a row. I believe she has proven that rolling from back to tummy is no longer a fluke, but her new party trick. I think it was around roll no. 8 or 9 that my dad ordered that we video tape the event. Luckily, she entertained us a few more times.

I love it--especially that once you gave the camera to your dad she just laid there. What mom? You want me to perform, NOW? There's eating of the hands to be done!!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite part was when she hovered on her side...like when you see sailboats and you're not sure if they're going to tip over or not.
