4 month appointment

Today, Lola had her four-month appointment with her pediatrician. She wasn't too interested in going. I think it's because she knew there would be, as Dr. G says, "some pokies" involved.

Nope. Not interested. At. All.

But, of course, she went.

Dr. G gave us her four-month stats:

Weight 13.0 lb (50% percentile)

Height 25 and 1/2 inches (70% percentile)

Head Circumference 15 inches (40% percentile)

And she got a pokey. Josh had the joy of taking her to this appointment because mommy was at work. (Don't you just love how I schedule her shot appointment to take place during the daddy daycare shift?).

According to him, Lola screamed right after the shot and then screamed even more when Josh gave her a dose of children's Tylenol. Apparently, the cherry-flavored Tylenol wasn't as thrilling today as it was at her two-month appointment. (When we gave it to her at the two-month appointment, you would have thought, based on her reaction, that tylenol was baby ambrosia).

But, she survived. And Josh was sure to schedule Lola's next shot appointment on a mommy shift.

  1. LOVE her shirt! :) Glad Lola survived her appt. She is the same size Olivia was at her 4 month appointment! (although percentiles have gone up 5%...I don't get this percentile thing...)
    Miss yoU!
