My friend Susie recently had a baby. Her name is Madeline and she is the adorable baby that I am holding in this photo. To say Lola was thrilled at meeting Madeline is a bit of an understatement. She was like, BABY! COME TO ME! BABY!! Lola kept trying to hold Madeline, hug Madeline, play with Madeline's tiny baby feet. BABY!!!
Josh has decided that we need to figure out a way to construct a moat around our baby at all times. At first, I thought his suggestion was a bit extreme, but if this photo is a sign of things to come, I think he is right.
I hope that she shows happy love, I think smothering is better than what Xander displayed. After about the first 3 weeks of adoration for his brother, he decided anytime he wanted attention he would make his brother cry. Thankfully he has outgrown that :). Hope you are all doing well and getting ready for the next little kicker!
