Our (Upgraded) Christmas Tree

The weekend after Thanksgiving, we purchased our Christmas tree. We went to the nearest Lowe's and perused through our parking lot choices.



Really though, it was Josh who was the officially tree-picker-outer. Lola couldn't be contained.




She loved exploring through the lot.



After strapping the tree to the top of the Camry via Josh's surf rack, we made it home and set it up to decorate. Our original plan was to place safe ornaments on the bottom branches, thinking that Lola would want to play with those.

Instead, we discovered that she really loved shaking the branches as hard as she could and watching bristles fly off. Wanting to maintain as many bristles as possible, we gated off the tree. Not the most attractive sight, but a festive family one.
