Christmas Eve did not go as planned. Lola had a low-grade fever, refused to nap, and then refused to open presents. She wanted nothing to do with Josh, and only wanted me to hold her which made it difficult for me to cook our special Christmas Eve dinner (albondigas soup, tamales, and tres leches cake!)
At one point, she seemed to simmer down long enough to open a gift.
After some very outrageous tantrums, she passed out at 6 PM and we just let her go to bed for the night. Then, Josh and I made dinner, ate, and stayed up until midnight assembling some very important gifts.
HA HA HA HA HA! This is amazing! Of COURSE she doesn't want to open presents...that would destroy all the Santas!
ReplyDeleteAbout our third chritmas this year Xander decided he might like to open a gift, then liked the first gift and refused to open anymore because he wanted to play with the first one.
