Farewell

Dear Volvo,

I'm sorry we had to end things this way, but I guess it just wasn't mean't to be. See, you can't spew emissions out into the environment and think that it's OK. We live in California (see below) and that sort of behavior just isn't tolerated.

Besides, I need more stability in my life. I need some reliablity. I have a baby now and that sort of changes everything. I need accident aversion, not just impact protection.

And just so you know, this has nothing to do with the new Camry in my life. Had you been able to get your act together and just pass the stupid smog test, we would still be together. Yes, this is your fault, not mine.

Love,

d

  1. Congratulations on a new car! And a reliable, fuel-efficient one, at that. Camry=parenthood. Pepe=youth. Take THAT one out to the clubs. :)

  2. 1. I want to see the new car.

    2. I find it very funny that Pepe is the vehicle that you still own.

    3. I'm guessing next year, Pepe too, will be gone.

  4. Yes, I did see the bread comment. I went to buy a candy thermometer tonight (because I wanted to make peanut brittle and solve my bread problems), but Target was out of them. I will pick one up soon.

Oh, and the camry is black. I will post a photo.
