He even lets Lola feed him. Lola, who has in the past few months turned into Best Helper Ever, loves to feed her baby brother. The first time she fed him, she sang, "Ok Beau, open up! Let's put the car into the garage!" I looked at her, and wondered aloud as to how she ever knew to say such thing, and she practically rolled her eyes at me when she replied, "MOM, that's what you're supposed to say when you feed a baby."
SERIOUSLY.
We started solids about four weeks ago and so far he has tried in this order:
Rice Cereal
Avocado
Sweet Potato
Plain greek yogurt
Peas
Green Beans
Carrots
Oatmeal
It appears that avocado and green beans are tied in first place for his favorite meal. Luckily for him, they are both in season right now, so he can eat as many as his little baby heart wants to.

ReplyDeleteGreen beans will be another good one for self-feeding! Great idea! Michaela feeds Nicole too. Its the only way I can finish getting lunches ready for school in the morning and dinner ready in the evening! Keeps them both occupied! Love our big helpful daughters :)
