I'd be lying if I said Archie was fine, or even the same as he was last week. Sadly, he seems to be slowly worsening. One of his medications causes excessive thirst, which in turn generates excessive urination. Pairing that with his inability to walk, he is having a difficult time letting us know when he needs to go outside. (He used to walk to the back door and paw at it.)
As a temporary solution, I purchased doggy diapers for him.
Being that this is the first time I've ever made such purchase, I had no idea that doggy diaper designs differ based on whether you have a male or female dog. When I got home, I realized that I purchased the female diapers.
I'm not sure what he finds more depressing...that he is wearing a diaper, or that he is wearing a pink gingham diaper.
